    • Take the N-5 (Extremadura highway). In Madrid you can reach the N-5 via any of the ring roads M-30, M-40, M-5 and then the toll road R-5. You will need to follow the signs to Badajoz or Talavera de la Reina - A-5. Another option is to go by the N-501, known as the reservoirs´road. A prettier option, you will go through all the villages, which makes the trip longer.
  • From Cataluña and Aragón:
    • The fastest and easiest way is to take the A-2, towards Madrid and there follow the instructions given above..
  • From the East (Levante):
    • We have several possibilities: reaching Madrid via the A-3, take one of the ring roads M-40 or M-50 then the R-5 (toll road), which will take you to Navalcarnero, km. 30 of the A-5 and follow the way as previously described. • The two main options are to take the N-I towards Madrid and before entering the capital, take the M-40, then the R-5 (toll road) or the A-5 towards Badajoz. The other option is to take the A-I, direction Avila. Once in Avila, look for the road to Plasencia and a few km. further on, take the N-502 to Arenas de San Pedro.
  • From the South:
    • Depending on the starting point, we can choose to take the Via de la Plata (N-630), towards Merida and from there the A-5 towards Madrid to Km 148 (Candeleda) or to Km 123 (Arenas San Pedro). Coming from the N-4, reach Madrid radials via the R-5 toll road or M-40 reach the A-5.
