Trips on the Tiétar River
VIVE TIETAR daytrips along the Tiétar river within the area of Candeleda and Arenas de San Pedro, both located on the southern face of the Gredos Mountains, in the Valle del Tiétar, surrounded by green hills and fed by numerous streams rushing the wooded valleys in the area. We provide the necessary equipment, which is: unsinkable canoes, double oars, lifejacket, buoyancy aids, wetsuits and boots when necessary, and helmets when in white waters. We offer the following trips:
1.- Flat water trip:
Short two hour trip, fit for beginners (specially recommended for groups and school children).
2 River descent:
Descent of a river, level difficulty 1, lasting 2 and half hours. Perfect for people wanting to learn. Ideal trip to enjoy the surroundings with stunning views of the Gredos mountains.
3 White waters:
4 hour trip combining flat and white waters. Experience necessary. Includes levels 1, 2 and 3.
All three trips offer the possibility of birdwatching. |
