Charming posada
This charming posada from the middle ages is situated in the Jewish—Arab- Christian neighbourhood called El Canchal because of the cobbles below its foundations called Canchos. Fortunately the house still maintains its popular architecture, offering suntraps and other small windows. In this charming posada, you breath peace and tranquillity thanks to the fresh Gredos air, and the people.
There are six different bedrooms, each with its own charm. "Boletus", lined in stone with an interior patio where swallows nest, is a pleasure in the warmer months, or the "Cantharellus" with its marble bathroom and its framework on the walls. And why not, “La Amanita", with its terracotta floor, and beautiful views of the Gredos Mountains.
All in all a place you will remember for a long time. If you decide to have lunch or supper in the posada, you will enjoy our traditional Castilian menu seated next to the fireplace.
